The only national union that specializes in representing corrections professionals!

It is the National Corrections Employees Union’s  (NCEU’s) belief that only another corrections professional truly knows the job and completely understands the perils and stress you face on a daily basis. The entire NCEU is comprised of current, former and/or retired corrections officers, supervisors, or support staff. The NCEU understands because we have worked the job ourselves.  The NCEU vehemently fights to improve corrections employees quality of life by negotiating contracts that better wages, benefits and working conditions.

We don’t stop there!  Factually, corrections is an unknown professional to the general public.  Unless you know a person or have a family member that works in corrections, the public is uneducated and downright unsympathetic to corrections professionals.  The NCEU continually fights to educate the public and legislative leaders by public awareness and filing legislation to protect and enhance your quality of life.  Other public safety professions, i.e. police and fire, have been the recipient of generous legislation but not corrections as a whole.  The NCEU files legislation such as pay parity, heart bill, contagious disease, workers compensation for on-the-job injuries and retirement.  It’s time the corrections profession is recognized and treated accordingly in order to better you and your families quality of life.
