In a case of out western Massachusetts, the NCEU has prevailed in an arbitration versus Hampden County Sheriff's Office. In Case# 01-22-0003-6495, the arbitrator, from the American Arbitration Association, decided the sheriffs office failed to meet the standards of Just Cause for a five (5) day suspension and reinstated the officer to his deputy sheriff status.
