On Friday May 16th, a vote was held by the NH Public Employees Labor Relations Board at the Carroll County Jail.  The vote was a unanimous decision by the Corporals and Corrections Officers. 

Local President Dustin Bachelder stated, "We wanted a union that knows the job that we do and Afscme was not that union.  The vote was unanimous for positive change and a new beginning."

NCEU President Michael Nessinger told the newest NCEU members, "It is an honor to be elected to represent the hard working men and women of Carrol County.  We look forward to working with you to obtain better wages and benefits for your local."
