RESPOND - Corrections Assistance Program
When the stress gets too much there is someone to turn to. RESPOND was designed by correctional professionals, Gary and Aida Ouillette are both retired Correctional Officers from Massachusetts. Whether it is job stress or personal stress, RESPOND is here to help.
The Corrections Professional Treatment Program provides the following confidential programs:
Corrections Peer Support Group - This group of correction professionals will address stress issues as it relates to thier own corrections environment. This group will also learn and develope coping techniques to assist in dealing with the day to day stress issues which may arise.
Corrections Stress Management - Corrections determined by some as one of the most stressful occupations in all of law enforcement, Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches has developed a specialized stress management program designed to meet the needs of the stressful environment to include the negative effects stress may play outside the corrections field.
Corrections Family Support Specialist - Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, realizes that addictions and stress affects the family member as well, therefore has developed the only corrections family support system of its kind. While the corrections professional is in treatment, the spouse has an educated, knowledgeable corrections specialist available to support and address any concerns and answer any questions the spouse may have any time.
Corrections Continued Care - Upon completion of the Correction Professional Treatment Program at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, the corrections professional will be referred to community-based programs which will provide continued care at home.
